DNA Paternity Test for Celebrities
There have been many public paternity battles involving celebrities but only a DNA paternity test can resolve the issue.
DNA paternity test - emotional support
Some celebrity fathers will do all they can to be good fathers for their offspring, even if the children were the result of a paternity battle and a DNA paternity test was required. But although a DNA paternity test in a court battle might result in the father in question paying child support, the emotional investment isn’t always as straightforward. In 1997, actor Kevin Costner claimed he was tricked after a three month fling that resulted in the birth of his youngest son. Sadly, even after a DNA paternity test, he has stated that the child will never mean as much to him as his other children.
DNA paternity test never lies
A DNA paternity test can’t lie, which might have been the reason why tennis-player Boris Becker eventually conceded that he was the father of a 10-month baby girl after model Angela Ermakova launched a paternity suit claiming the child was conceived in a broom cupboard in a London restaurant.
Becker later issued a statement to the press: “I do accept the fatherhood. I take responsibility, and I will take care of little Anna.” Becker had agreed to a DNA paternity test and had no other choice but to accept the results.
Crucial DNA paternity test
A DNA paternity test can be crucial in a court battle – especially when it comes to issues of child support and visitation rights. And some of the more publicly-fought paternity battles have involved Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. He is no stranger to the DNA paternity test, having undergone two court battles with two different mistresses who fell pregnant.
First-born daughter
In 1970, his first daughter Karis was born as a result of his affair with Marsha Hunt. The only way to confirm a man is the father of a child is through a DNA paternity test, and Hunt successfully sued the multi-millionaire for child support.
DNA paternity test proof
And then there was Luciana Morad, the Brazilian supermodel who had an affair with Jagger, ending his 20-year relationship with Jerry Hall. A DNA paternity test proved that Jagger was the father of Luciana’s baby and Jagger agreed to increase his payments to a whopping £10,000 a month for his baby son until the age of 21.
DNA paternity test is vital
A DNA paternity test can be vital for celebrities who are at risk of losing or gaining huge amounts of money depending on the result of the test. Currently, Anna Nicole Smith’s baby daughter is the subject of paternity court battle after a Los Angeles judge ordered a DNA paternity test after photographer Larry Brikhead filed a lawsuit against Smith, claiming the child was his.
Mel B of Spice Girls fame is also reported to be ready to unleash her revenge on her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Murphy, by revealing the results of her DNA paternity test live on TV. She was publicly dumped by Murphy during a TV interview.
